CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Jesse Holland, the owner/operator of BizzyBee, joined QC Life to talk about urban beekeeping.
BizzyBee installs, maintains and harvests aparies on residential and corporate client properties. They have over 150 hives between North Carolina and South Carolina.
They recently launched their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. It’s a lower priced option to help support the honey bee for those that don’t want to/can’t host a hive(s) on their site.
The program works like a monthly box service combined with a CSA. It’s year round and not seasonal. Local pickup is usually chosen but delivery is available.
BizzyBee also partiicpates in local farmers markets around Charlotte. That’s also where you can pick up your CSA, DNA tested local honey, and get exclusive farmers market only product (kombucha, teas, etc.)
