CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - A local art organization is inviting the community to come clean out an old church it bought in Charlotte’s Plaza Midwood neighborhood.
Devlin McNeil, president and executive director of Arts+, came by to talk about his organization’s purchase of Plaza Presbyterian Church.
This Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, the community can come to the church and clear out any books, toys, office supplies, furniture or whatever else they can find.
Arts+ recently signed a 50-year lease for the church building and will run programs out of it, as well as rent out artist studios.
