Charlotte native featured on CBS Mornings This 11-year-old was recognized for doing what he loves: lawn mowing.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - A fifth-grader from Charlotte was featured on a new series on CBS Mornings.

At 11 years old, Quentin Hines Jr. is an entrepreneur. He runs a lawn mowing business called QJ’s Professional Lawn Care and has been lawn mowing for years. He recently started recruiting children his age to help cut more lawns.

To continue both his business and his passion, he created a GoFundMe to raise money for a new lawn mower.

CBS Mornings’ David Begnaud heard of this, and immediately reached out. Soon, Quentin became the first segment on Begnaud’s newest series on CBS Mornings: Beg-knows America.

Begnaud joined our show today to talk about Quentin’s feature on the show. Begnaud also talked more about his new series, which will air every Monday at 8 a.m. on CBS Mornings.
