CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - What started off as a hobby has turned into a business with a team and support from celebrities.
Denim Designs by LV is an apparel business that customizes denim jackets for customers. The business, which was created by Lily Vasey, started as a hobby for her as she would paint designs from her favorite football team on denim jackets and attend games wearing them.
Soon she found that custom apparel in the sports world wasn’t popular back then - until now. Since 2020, Vasey has built up a team of artists, hand painted numerous apparel items, worked with customers and has even been worn and promoted by celebrities like singer-songwriter Ciara.
Sports designs aren’t the only things requested and painted onto apparel. Customizations such as pet portraits, wedding related designs, concert designs and more have been painted onto denim jackets and other apparel items such as leather jackets, shoes, jeans and more.
A hand-painted design can take between four to eight hours to complete.
