CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The 4th of July festivities keep going and even more things to do this weekend in Charlotte.

Carolina Eucalyptus Festival (Carolina Lavendar Farm), through Sunday: It may be a lavender farm, but it also has over 600 eucalyptus trees. Walk around through ten different species of eucalyptus trees and pick out your own fresh bundles, or even take a tree home with you. Try out the farm’s homemade essential oils distilled right at the farm or purchase gifts made from the farm’s lavender and eucalyptus. Admission is $20.

Uptown Boom (Truist Field), Friday: If you missed the SkyShow, you have another chance to catch even more fireworks in Uptown. After the Charlotte Knights take on the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, enjoy a firework spectacular above Truist Field and keep the Independence Day weekend festivities going. Tickets to the game start at $19, but you can also see the fireworks from Romare Bearden Park. You’ll also have another chance for fireworks on Saturday.

4th of July Boat Parade (Tega Cay, SC), Friday 5 p.m.: Celebrate our country’s 248th birthday with a parade of boats down Niven’s Creek to Windjammer Park. Patriotically decorated boats set sail where they will be judged for categories like “Most All-American” and “Best Overall.” Winners will take home a coveted trophy. Free to watch.

LeeAnn Rimes (Carowinds), Friday 8 p.m.: The thrills don’t stop at Carowinds’ award-winning roller coasters. End your day at the park with Grammy Award-winning country superstar LeeAnn Rimes performing live right on the state line to kickoff the Carowinds Summer Music Fest. The concert is included with park admission, including season passes. Check the schedule to see which other stars will be rocking the Carowinds stage.
