CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - The owner of King of Fire has decided to take his business inside this summer.
King of Fire is a family-owned pizza food truck business with seven trucks, and it will be adding two brick-and-mortar locations. The first location with open in The Green in August, and the second location will be in Clover this September.
Food truck locations will remain open as King of Fire moves into buildings. Truck locations change regularly, however, so be sure to stay up to date on addresses by checking their website.
And joining our show today are Siler Chapman, owner of King of Fire, and Chris Reinhart, general manager, to share some of the details of the big move and to cook one of their bestselling dishes.
Watch the segment above to watch Chapman create the The Honey Pie 2.0, a 10″ Honey Pie with bacon, pepperoni, red pepper flakes, and local honey. This is the same dish that won the Trofeo Caputo Cup, Americana Division, an invite-only pizza competition in Naples, Italy.
