CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - The Queen City is expecting thousands of fans to come to the area for Copa America.
Two matches will be held at Bank of America Stadium this week: the semifinal between Uruguay and Colombia on Wednesday at 8 p.m. and the third-place match between the losing teams on Saturday at 8 p.m.
Ahead of the matches, the soccer culture has been growing in Charlotte and surrounding areas. As thousands of fans flood the city and anticipation builds up, some restaurants are throwing watch parties and celebrations for their teams.
Jorge Andres visited one of those restaurants, Los Paisas Colombian Restaurant, to see the culture they have created and the excitement they have for Colombia in the soccer tournament.
Los Paisas has been in Charlotte for 20 years and has created a space to share Colombian culture and a space for fans from far and near to root for Colombia. They offer traditional Colombian dishes which is show in the segment above. To view the full menu, visit their website.

The restaurant is holding a watch party Wednesday for the Uruguay vs. Colombia match. They will be offering a special during the semifinal.
