CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Get ready for a culinary journey with Marina’s Tapas.
Andres Kaifer, chef and co-owner, and Andriana Cavazos, chef de cuisine, joined us to introduce their upcoming Spanish restaurant.
Marina’s Tapas, from the team behind Customshop, is a classic Spanish Tapas counter coming to Optimist Hall later this year and will be located next to Boxcar Betty’s. This stall will feature a variety of tapas and drinks often found on the streets of Spain. Some of these dishes include bocadillos, croquetas, patatas bravas, Ensaladilla Rusa, and Pan con Tomate
The concept is named after Kaiefer’s great-grandmother Marina Martinez, and honors all of the women in his life who taught him his love for cooking.
Watch the segment above to see a demo of how Kaifer and Cavazos create Ensaladilla Rusa and Pan con Tomate.
