CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - You get your coffee hot, iced, frozen, and now . . . cracked!
Coffee Republic, a family-owned coffee shop and bakery in Cornelius, has joined the social media coffee trend by creating a cracked iced latte, which uses chocolate cured inside a plastic cup in a freezer overnight. Customers can squeeze the cup to crack the chocolate shell in their latte.
QC Life’s Jorge Andres and Kristen Miranda attempted to make the cracked latte themselves in the kitchen this morning.
