CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - With International Self-Care Day coming up on Wednesday, July 24, it may be time to allow yourself to wind down with some.

Frannie Williams, owner of Guided Surrender, a spiritual health and wellness company, joined our show to talk us through a seven-day challenge of incorporating self-care practices into your week to help improve your mind and body.

The challenge is listed below:

  • Day 1: Sit in the sunniest room of your house.
  • Day 2: Create a meal from scratch using whatever you have.
  • Day 3: Turn a piece of old clothing into something new.
  • Day 4: Change/clean your bed linens.
  • Day 5: Listen to or watch a podcast.
  • Day 6: Set positive intentions into your water.
  • Day 7: Wake up and hear the silence.
