ROCK HILL, S.C. (QC Life) - The world’s best cornhole players will be in Rock Hill this weekend.
QC Life’s Jorge Andres was out in Rock Hill on Wednesday morning to check out the American Cornhole League (ACL) World Championship.
The championship will last 10 days, beginning this Friday, Aug. 2, through Aug. 11, at the Power House.
Jorge met with the general manager of the Power House to learn more about why the historic site makes a great launch pad for the America Cornhole League and to learn more about the ACL Bash happening Friday. The bash starts at 6 p.m. and is free to the public.
He also met with the sports and events supervisor for Rock Hill to learn more about the city’s partnership with the ACL and its economic influence.

Additionally, Jorge met with the chief strategist for the ACL to learn more about the history and expansion of the ACL, as well as one of the league’s first players to offer a different perspective about the growth of the sport.
