SHEBLY, N.C. (QC Life) - The American Legion World Series is days away, but before that is their festival.
QC Life’s Jorge Andres was out in Shelby to check out the American Legion World Series (ALWS) and their upcoming festival.
“It’s longer, larger, and louder,” said Kim Davis, who is with the ALWS Festival.
The festival runs this weekend, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with seven music acts and a car show that includes 30 cars. For the kids, there are inflatables, a Ferris wheel, and other activities.
