CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Get out of the heat and learn more about birds of prey at the Carolina Raptor Center.
The Carolina Raptor Center’s Kate Shaner shared a few things happening at the center and introduced Surrey the Barn Owl.
The Carolina Raptor Center in Huntersville offers a variety of public and private programs, a raptor trail and hospital, as well as bird shows and feedings.
Some of the upcoming events happening include:
- “Beat the Heat” (Aug. 17)
- “International Vulture Awareness Day” (Sept. 7)
