CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Buying a home can be one of the most significant financial transactions anyone will experience. But the process for this transaction is changing.
Tiffany Johannes from RE/MAX Executive explained these new regulations for buying and selling a home.
According to the National Association of Realtors, the practice changes include:
- Offers of compensation to the buyer’s agent will be prohibited on Multiple Listing Services (MLSs).
- Agents working with a buyer must enter into a written buyer agreement before touring a home.
The changes will take effect Saturday, Aug. 17.
