Local artists combining creativity for big new project

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Two Charlotte-based abstract painters are coming together for a big new project.

Called “The B.A.C. Show,” Mikel Frank and Barbara Ellis are combining their creativity to make a collection of large-scale, vibrant acrylic and mixed-media works on canvas.

Our friends at Charlotte is Creative introduced us to the artists and gave us a chance to hear more about their work.

The opening reception for The B.A.C. Show is set for Sept. 14, at the Nine Eighteen Nine Studio Gallery. It will stay on display through Nov. 7. A live demo is scheduled for Oct. 5.

For more on the artists and their creations, be sure to watch our full segment above.
