CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - With the weather transitioning to fall, copperhead sightings are becoming more common in North Carolina.

The infamous snakes are most active during the early spring and fall, which coincides with their mating season.

Jessica Hill of the Carolina Reptile Center joined the show to talk about how you can identify copperheads, the threat they pose to humans and what you should do if you see or are bitten by one.
