CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - In the wake of Helene, many communities in western North Carolina are continuing to recover from the devastating storm.

Craig Distl, a tourism PR specialist, joined the show to talk about some of the ways to help.

He discussed the need for donations, what supplies to donate, plus who, how and where to give.

Distl specifically talked about the damage to the Hendersonville and Banner Elk communities, where damage was largely catastrophic, as it was in many other places.
