CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - This weekend’s race is one of the last for Doug Rice.
After more than three decades covering NASCAR, he’s hanging up the mic at the end of this season.
This year has been dubbed “Doug’s Last Lap.”
As he gets ready to call his final race here in Charlotte, he took a look back at the career, and sport, that he loves.
Rice’s last race in the broadcast booth will be Oct. 20 in Las Vegas, but he’s not stepping away from racing completely. He will continue to host Fast Talk, a weekly show that recaps the latest news in NASCAR.
