CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - With fall now in season, many stores are offering big sales, especially as we get closer to Black Friday and Christmas.
Some of those sales happen online, and in those cases, it is important to stay vigilant to avoid potential scams.
Juliana O’Rork of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) joined the show to talk about how to spot and stay away from those online scams.
Her tips include:
- Research the seller or retailer
- Watch out for social media ads
- Professional photos do not mean an offer is real
- Be careful when purchasing sought-after products.
