CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - CLT is as busy as ever with one of the busiest holiday travel weeks upon us, but it’s also home to a very important event.
The USO’s Operation Exodus is helping thousands of service members get home for the holidays.
Over two days, 5,000 service members will pass through Charlotte Douglas International Airport and will be provided with food, drinks and even a game room to relax.
“I think it’s the most gratifying thing to see the smile on their face,” Peter Amendola, center operations specialist for the USO of North Carolina, said.
