CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Country music legend Randy Travis made his return to the stage in Charlotte Thursday night—and QC Life had exclusive access to it all.
The show was at Ovens Auditorium, and it featured Randy’s band, with singer James Dupré bringing Randy’s timeless hits to life. The show also included heartfelt videos that shared the story of Randy’s incredible journey.
After the performance, we sat down with Randy and Mary to talk about what it meant to be back in front of a hometown crowd.
James Dupre' is the singer that brings Randy’s music to life on stage. They were friends before his stroke, so when asked to fill this role, he didn’t hesitate.
Randy teased that fans can expect two more new songs to be released in the future—keeping the excitement alive for what’s to come.
