CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Losing a pet is heartbreaking.
With the recent closure of a company that helped reunite lost cats and dogs with their families, it’s now more important than ever to know what steps to take if it happens to you.
Melissa Kniceley from Animal Care & Control dropped by QC Life to share what you need to know.
The company “Save This Life” microchip went out of business, along with Pet Recovery System.
This means that the database that maintains the owner and pet information linked to these brands of microchips will no longer be available.
