Here’s a list of things to do the weekend of Feb. 28-Mar. 2, 2025:

Hands-On Heroes (The Hub at thExchange), Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Learn a lifesaving skill. You never know when you’re going to need it but we’ll help get you prepared when you do. Join WBTV and the American Heart Association for a free, hands-only CPR-training. Experts will teach attendees how to administer hands-only CPR along with AED demonstrations. You can even meet some of your favorite WBTV friends.

A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical (Belk Theater), through Sunday: How did a Brooklyn kid become an American rock icon? Discover the story of Neil Diamond told through the music of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. From “America” to “Forever in Blue Jeans,” and, of course, “Sweet Caroline,” relive the songs you grew up with told through Diamond’s eyes. Created in partnership with Neil Diamond himself, the musical was a hit on Broadway with a two-year run. Tickets start at $30.

Major League Table Tennis (Charlotte Convention Center), Friday to Sunday: Get up close to all the action as Major League Table Tennis brings world-class players to the Queen City. Catch teams like the Carolina Gold Rush, Chicago Wind, Florida Cros and Princeton Revolution fight their way to the top. Will the Carolina Gold Rush use their home field advantage? Find out this weekend! Tickets are $24 per day with 3-day passes available.

Charlotte Card Show (Park Expo Conference Center), Saturday & Sunday: If you’re looking for rare cards and memorabilia, you’ve come to the right place. Join thousands of fans, collectors and enthusiasts for a weekend of treasure hunting at North Carolina’s largest sports card show. Find exclusive collectibles and rare cards you can’t find anywhere else to help complete your collection. Meet expert dealers, special guests and make new friends with similar passions. Admission is $7 per day or $10 for a weekend pass.

YMCA Corporate Cup 5K & Half Marathon (Truist Field), Saturday 8 a.m.: Lace up for Charlotte’s oldest road race. Pounding the pavement for its 46th year, the YMCA Corporate Cup is a great race for runners and walkers of all levels. Soak in the perfect weather and the surrounding beauty of Uptown Charlotte and beyond as you trek through Myers Park and back. Celebrate your accomplishments with a post-race party with music, food and vendors. Registration is $45 for the 5K and $95 for the half marathon. Prices go up on race day.

Mardis Gras Celebration (Middle James Brewing), Saturday 11 a.m.: Bust out the beads and make way for the New Orleans vibes. Mardis Gras is coming to Middle James Brewing with live music, Cajun-inspired food, a mimosa bar, king cakes and fresh brews. It’s the Big Easy celebration you don’t want to miss. Admission is free.

Spring Artisan Market (Heist Brewery), Saturday noon to 6 p.m.: Spring is just around the corner and it’s time to go out and do some shopping. Grab a friend and head to the Spring Artisan Market to find over a dozen vendors selling unique gifts, art and so much more. You’ll be supporting small businesses in our community while checking out cool stuff. Admission is free.

Charlotte Book Fair (Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten), Saturday 1 to 6 p.m.: Calling all book nerds and reading enthusiasts. Discover your next literary adventure at the Charlotte Book Fair. There will be over 30 local vendors who can help guide you to your next read. You can even meet some of the authors to get a deeper dive into their stories. Even if you’re not in the mood to purchase a new book, you can enjoy the literary vibes. Admission is free.

Charlotte FC vs. Atlanta United (Bank of America Stadium), Saturday 2 p.m.: Major League Soccer is back in the Queen City. CLT FC’s home opener kicks off on Saturday with an exciting game against Eastern Conference rival Atlanta United FC at The Fortress. Catch the season’s new roster including the highly anticipated international star Wilfried Zaha. Upper Bowl tickets start at $19.
