DeMayo Law’s Arrive Alive Scholarship

DeMayo Law's Arrive Alive Scholarship A scholarship for high school seniors who help prevent underage drinking and distracted driving amongst their peers.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - DeMayo Law Offices is excited to announce the 23rd Arrive Alive® Scholarship Program, aimed at high school seniors committed to making a positive impact in their communities. Since 2003, this program has helped students manage college costs while addressing the serious issues of underage drinking, driving, and distracted driving.

Each year, approximately 2,500 teens in the U.S. lose their lives in motor vehicle crashes. The Arrive Alive® Scholarship promotes peer messaging to encourage teens to avoid these dangerous behaviors.

This year, DeMayo Law Offices will award $5,000 each to ten graduating seniors, totaling $50,000 in scholarships. Funds can be used for tuition, books, and other college expenses.

QC Life spoke with Michael A. DeMayo about his passion to help eliminate underage drinking and driving.

Applicants can submit an essay, billboard design, brochure, website homepage, or music video to convey their message. To apply, students must be high school seniors who have applied for full-time enrollment at a four-year college and must submit their completed scholarship packet by March 24, 2025. More information can be obtained through high school counseling offices or at https://demayolaw.com/scholarship-program/. Winners will be chosen based on their submission quality, along with academic performance and recommendations.
