CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Meet Bonnie and Pickle! They’re two pups who didn’t have the easiest start to life, but they found loving homes and are now the subject of some children’s books. Liz Skomra is the founder and director of Small but Mighty Dog Rescue and Kristen Lieber is the co-founder of Bark and Books LLC, together they have co-written children’s books to help teach children about the importance of rescuing animals. Through their Children’s books their mission is to educate young and adult readers on everything it takes to save these animals lives and help them find their Fur-ever homes.
