CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Charlotte SHOUT! is always a celebration of art, music, and culture, and this year, the festival brings a brand-new immersive experience with the SHOUT! Lounge. Managed by Matt Alvis (also known as Stencil Spray) and produced by Activation Studios in partnership with Charlotte Center City Partners, this dynamic space serves as a popup art mall, offering festival-goers a chance to engage with local creativity in a whole new way.

A Hub for Local Artisans and Experiences

The SHOUT! Lounge features 18 unique art shops showcasing the talents of Charlotte’s vibrant creative community. From pottery and painting to collage and clothing workshops, visitors can explore a diverse array of handmade works while also participating in hands-on experiences led by talented artists.

Interactive and Live Art Features

Beyond shopping, the SHOUT! Lounge offers festivalgoers the chance to engage with art in real-time. Highlights include:

Live painters on the weekends, bringing artwork to life before your eyes.
Puddle Painting and Resin Epoxy classes by TuxedoKat Imaginarium, allowing guests to experiment with fluid and resin art techniques.
A fashion exhibit curated by designer Will White, who was featured on WBTV for his work at Charlotte SHOUT! last year.
