CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - ArtPop, a 501(c)(3) arts nonprofit supporting local artists and small businesses through advertising, education, and paid opportunities, is at risk of closing due to 15 months of declining arts funding. In response to the crisis, ArtPop has launched “Beige,” an awareness campaign in partnership with GHOST, Adams Outdoor, Awedience Media, and TAOH Outdoor Gallery, visually demonstrating what a world without art could look like. As part of this effort, the TAOH Outdoor Gallery in NoDa will “BEIGE OUT” its mural park, inviting the community and press to witness the impact firsthand and rally to save the arts. The campaign, running since March 18, directs people to SaveArtFromDeath.com—because the survival of local arts and artists livelihood is at stake.
If you want to see our QC art community and accessibility continue to thrive, be bold and share more about "Beige".
