CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Where can you watch penguins glide through the water, see red pandas climb above you, and learn about the science of weather? With its many exhibits both inside and out, the Greensboro Science Center teaches and inspires visitors of all ages.
In the Amazon exhibit, you’ll find two-toed sloths, golden lion tamarins and titi monkeys. You can even talk to a scuba diver while sandbar sharks swim past you in the 90,000-gallon shark reef exhibit.
Step outside and explore the zoo to watch the pygmy hippos play in their pool and see the most dangerous bird in the world, the southern cassowary. You can also go to Friendly Farm, when you can pet goats and meet some of the barnyard animals.
