CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Whether you’re dying them or making deviled eggs, it’s estimated that Americans buy about 180 million eggs for Easter.

But this year that number could be a lot lower. As of March - a dozen eggs cost an average of 6 dollars and 23 cents.

That number has a lot of people looking for alternatives. You can use wood or plastic eggs. But what about marshmallows?

All you need is a bag of marshmallows, some water and food coloring and you’ve got a fun and festive craft for the kids.
