Fawn’s latest book, Love & Whiskey, unearths the long-overlooked story of Nearest Green, his friendship with Jack Daniel, and how his legacy lives on through the fastest-growing American whiskey brand in history. That story takes center stage at the Author Talks event on April 23 (6–9 p.m. at 4100 Raleigh St.), where Fawn will do a reading and conversation alongside Victoria Eady Butler, Green’s 5th-generation descendant and a four-time Master Blender of the Year, who will also lead a guided whiskey tasting.
