Charlotte Symphony's Summer Pops returns this June

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - In just a few weeks Charlotte Symphony’s Summer Pops concert series will be back for its 42nd year!

This year, we’re excited to announce that WBTV First Alert Weather has teamed up with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra to get attendees weather-ready before each show.

Charlotte Symphony’s Director of Operations Tim Pappas joined us in the QC Studio today to give us a sneak peek at what to expect this season.

Summer Pops will have four Sunday evening performances, all at Symphony Park, with a lineup that includes Broadway hits, classical favorites, Latin rhythms and a patriotic celebration complete with fireworks.

The Charlotte tradition brings thousands of music-lovers to enjoy a performance under the stars: which is why WBTV First Alert Weather is sponsoring the beloved event.
