CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - For the 4th year, the best of jazz is coming to the High Country!
The Appalachian Theatre is proud to partner with Boone Sunrise Rotary & Appalachian State University’s Jazz Studies program to present the 4th Annual High Country Jazz Festival, June 13-15, in Boone and Blowing Rock.
Over 3 nights of music, food, and history will be found all over the High Country. Visitors can enjoy lectures, lunches, exhibitions, a free concert on the lawn at the Jones House Cultural Center, and late-night jams.
This year features three headlining acts performing at the Appalachian Theatre of the High Country:
- Catherine Russell on Friday, June 13th, 7:30 pm.
- Dizzy Gillespie Big Band on Saturday, June 14th, 7:30 pm.
- Noel Friedline & Maria Howell on Sunday, June 15th, 3:00 pm.
Tickets for each performance and a ticket package for all three paid performances are available for purchase.
