Tabletop Game Day - QC Life

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Saturday, June 7, marks International Tabletop Game Day, and Charlotte local Chuck Bludsworth is celebrating by introducing his new party game, I Love/Hate Everything. The game is all about guessing what your friends love and hate. Chuck will officially launch a Kickstarter campaign for the game on Tuesday, June 9: Kickstarter Link.

Chuck, who has been a filmmaker for most of his career, became interested in games during the pandemic. He and his wife created Dog Catcher in 2000, but I Love/Hate Everything is his first solo game. His film credits include Dances with Wolves, Cape Fear, and local projects like Aphasia and The Double Door Inn Documentary.

The game had its first public introduction during a 49-second pitch at a Creative Mornings event last year and has since been refined through several play test parties at NoDa Brewing, Divine Barrel Brewing, and VisArt Video Café.

I Love/Hate Everything is easy to learn, fun to play, and designed to help people connect. The Kickstarter campaign will raise funds to mass-produce the game with hopes of delivering it by Christmas. Backers can buy the game at a lower-than-retail price and receive limited-edition items like enamel pins, coffee mugs, and tote bags.

The Kickstarter Launch Party will take place Tuesday at Divine Barrel Brewing in NoDa, starting at 5 p.m., where guests can play the game in person.
