CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The fourth-annual Tacos ‘N Taps festival will bring food, drinks and music to Charlotte this weekend!
The “all you care to taste” beer and tequila festival will feature more than a dozen food trucks, taquerias, and Mexican restaurants serving up tacos and Mexican food.
The festival will also include dueling margarita bars, mariachi bands, boutiques, and more.
Here’s what to know about the event.
When and where
The 2025 Tacos ‘N Taps festival is an outdoor festival happening from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23 at Symphony Park at the SouthPark mall.

The festival opens at noon for VIP ticketholders, and opens at 1 p.m. for other ticketholders.
Symphony Park is located in Charlotte’s SouthPark neighborhood off of Sharon Road, near the corner of Barclay Downs Drive and Carnegie Boulevard.
What to expect at the festival
Tickets are required to enter the festival.
All ticketholders will get to enjoy the following:
- Souvenir glasses that you can use to taste more than 60 craft beers, mezcals, margaritas, and tequilas. There will also be some ciders and wine “just for the gringos,” organizers say.
- Chilled tequila and mezcal bars.
- More than 15 taco trucks, taquerias, and Mexican restaurants serving a wide variety of tacos and Mexican-inspired dishes. All of the vendors will feature at least one taco option for $3. Most of the food vendors will accept “taco tickets,” but they’ll also accept cash and credit cards.
- Dueling margarita bars.
- Mariachi bands.
- Local Charlotte-area bands.
- Boutiques selling brewerania, jewelry, hot sauces, and more.
- Hot pepper eating contest.
- Lawn activities and games.
Ticket options and prices
There are three ticket options for the festival.

A “taco only ticket” costs $25, and will give you four taco sampling tickets. Taco ticketholders will have access to all live entertainment, as well.
The “general admission drinky ticket” costs about $51 with fees. These ticketholders will also have access to all live entertainment, in addition to a souvenir glass, and “boundless portions” of dozens of craft beers, mezcals, and tequilas. This ticket does not include taco sampling tickets.
The “VIP super muy taco ticket” costs about $85 with fees. VIP ticketholders will get an exclusive tasting experience with an extra hour of tastings, four taco tickets, a souvenir glass and sombrero, and access to VIP bathrooms.

Music and live entertainment schedule
There’s a variety of music and entertainment scheduled for Saturday!
The Love Tribe band will play from 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
The Black Pearl Band will play from 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
Mariachi band Mariachi Los Gavilanes will perform throughout the festival.
Pinatas will happen every hour throughout the festival, starting at 12:30 p.m.
Parking situation
There will be thousands of free parking spaces available at the festival, organizers say.
