CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - As the weather turns chillier, parents often look for indoor fun. The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art offers a bite-sized museum experience that can be explored in 45 to 90 minutes.
The uptown Charlotte museum hosts free Family Days before opening new exhibitions, giving kids of all ages a chance to build, invent and make connections with art.
The next Family Day, called “Creative Construction,” happens Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event takes place on opening day for the fall show “Assembly Lines: Modernism and Machines,” which examines mechanization, industrialization and innovation from the early 20th century to today’s era of artificial intelligence.
