CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Magnolia Laine Bridal is dedicating October to breast cancer awareness by donating a portion of wedding gown sales to metastatic breast cancer research.
The Charlotte boutique will donate proceeds from every gown sold during “Pinktober” to The Sugar Foundation, which supports metastatic breast cancer research and family assistance.
The initiative honors Elizabeth Stevens, who was set to own the Magnolia Laine Detroit location before she died from metastatic breast cancer in 2023. The Detroit store opened in her memory, and Stevens’ family remains involved with the business.
During Pinktober Weekend from Oct. 17-19, brides who say “yes” to a dress will also receive an exclusive brand sweatshirt.
