CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Charlotte Auto Show, The Sound of Music, Nate Bargatze are coming to the Queen City.

Here’s a list of things to do the weekend of Nov. 21-23, 2025:

Charlotte Auto Show (Charlotte Convention Center), Thursday through Sunday: Rev up for a weekend of the latest vehicle models and the future of automobile technology. Leading automakers, like Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz and more, invite you to get a 360 view of their vehicles in a no-pressure environment. Feel the speed at the indoor EV test track or enjoy the family-friendly activities. Admission is $15 each day, free for children 12 and under.

Nate Bargatze (Spectrum Center), Thursday & Friday 8 p.m.: Grammy-nominated standup Nate Bargatze is bringing the laughs to the Queen City. Hailed as the #1 comedian in the world, he’s bringing the “Big Dumb Eyes” World Tour to the newly renovated Spectrum Center. The show is so popular, a second date has been added. Tickets start at $47.85.

Speedway Christmas (Charlotte Motor Speedway), opening Friday: Five million synchronized lights surround you in a holiday tradition four miles long. Speedway Christmas is back for its 16th year taking you on the Charlotte Motor Speedway track and beyond for a dazzling display that’s bigger and better than before. Admission starts at $46.41 per vehicle up to 15 passengers.

Ice Skating at Camp North Pole (Camp North End), opening Friday: Camp North End gets merry and bright with the return of the ice-skating rink. Lace up the skates and feel the joy of the season in the Charlotte hotspot with live music. Get cozy by the fire pit or enjoy a sip of hot seasonal beverages. The rink will open at 4 p.m. on weekdays and noon on weekends. Admission is $18 per person and includes skate rentals. Guests may bring their own skates.

Concord Christmas Tree Lighting & Parade (Downtown Concord), Friday & Saturday:The holidays have arrived in Concord! To kick things off, head to Downtown Concord on Friday and gather around to ignite the lights on the Christmas tree. From 6 to 8:30 p.m., the Courthouse Plaza becomes a winter wonderland complete with falling snow, Santa and a fireworks celebration. Then, on Saturday, the 97th annual Concord Christmas Parade steps off at 2:30 p.m. at Church St. and ending down Union Street. Admission to both events are free. 

Yap Ye Iswa Festival (Catawba Cultural Center), Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Celebrate and learn all about Catawba culture with the return of the Yap Ye Iswa Festival. Learn all about the Cawtabas, who have lived in the Carolinas for over 6,000 years, through their art and traditions. Watch live performances, traditional dancing and drumming, try authentic food and more. Admission is free.

All is Bright a Holiday Celebration (Blakeney Town Center), Saturday 3 to 6 p.m.: Spread holiday cheer with Blakeney Town Center’s festive celebration. It’s a fun afternoon for the whole family with crafts, face painting, balloons and, of course, photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Oh, and did we mention snow? Admission is free.

704 Outdoor Faceoff (Truist Field), Friday & Saturday 7 p.m.: Truist Field switches out the diamond for the ice the 704 Outdoor Faceoff college series. On Friday, Georgia will take on Virginia Tech followed by App State vs. UNCC on Saturday. Tickets start at $20.

The Magician’s Table (Blume Studios), opening weekend: Are you ready to be amazed? Get up close and personal with this new immersive experience coming to Charlotte direct from London. The Magician’s Table is an all-new show bringing the illusion straight to your table. From sleight of hands to mindreading, each intimate performance is a unique one. Featuring world-class magicians from around the world, you’ll have to see it to believe it yourself. Tickets start at $89.99 each.

Sound of Music (Belk Theater), through Sunday: The hills are alive again with the return of “The Sound of Music” the musical. Experience the classic story of the von Trapp family all over again live on stage in this new production hitting the road. Celebrating 65 years of the Rodgers & Hammerstein hit, relive songs like “Do-Re-Mi” and “My Favorite Things.” Tickets start at $46.58.
