CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Thanksgiving hosts can create designer-quality tablescapes using items they already own, according to Colleen Bute Bennett, founder and principal designer at CBB Design Firm.
Bennett recommends mixing textures like ceramic, wood, glass and linen for a curated look. Instead of expensive florals, she suggests using grocery store produce like artichokes, pomegranates and pears as centerpieces.
For buffets, place plates at the start and utensils at the end. For plated dinners, keep centerpieces low and add simple napkin details.
