CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - The Goodyear House has launched its fall and winter “sweater weather” menu featuring cozy dishes designed for cooler days and nights.
Chef Chris Coleman is highlighting the Faroe Island Salmon as one of the signature items from the seasonal menu. The restaurant is also featuring Coleman’s chicken and rice stew, which gained recognition when he prepared it on Food Network and defeated Bobby Flay.
Holiday events and activities
The Goodyear House has scheduled several holiday events for the season. Santa’s Shed, an outdoor popup bar, will feature seven festive cocktails and operate Thursday through Sunday.
S’mores kits are available for guests to enjoy around the restaurant’s backyard fire pits, also offered Thursday through Sunday.
The restaurant will host a visit with Santa Claus on Dec. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is designated as a Kids Eat Free night, and families are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys for donation to a local toy drive.
A Second Harvest Food Bank donation drive will run from Nov. 24 through Dec. 23. Guests who bring four non-perishable food items will receive a complimentary Shaken Fry Bag.
