ROCK HILL- Dr. Carrie Watson, trauma medical director at Piedmont Medical Center, said common holiday injuries are preventable with proper precautions.
Watson said the most frequent holiday injuries include falls from decorating, cooking accidents from turkey frying, fire-related injuries, toy choking hazards from small batteries, drinking and driving incidents, and winter weather slip-and-fall injuries.
Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill serves as a Level III trauma center for the region.
