CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Visit the Pop‑Up Bar at Santa’s Shed at Goodyear House for a merry mix of classic and inventive cocktails. Cozy up by the firepits with s’mores kits and enjoy festive craft drinks from Lauren Long, Goodyear House bar manager.
Kids are welcome — they can fill out their Santa lists and drop them in the Santa mailbox while you relax.
The holiday bar is open Thursday–Sunday, and festive drinks are available any day of the week. Plus, Santa will be visiting on Tuesday, Dec. 9 and Dec. 23rd!
Executive Chef Chris Coleman tells us how Goodyear House is giving back this season. As part of the Salvation Army food drive, bring in four canned goods and receive a free fry bag! Visiting Santa? Bring a new, unwrapped toy—the Goodyear House team will wrap it and deliver it to a child in need this Christmas.
Chef Coleman also shares a new, slow-braised pot roast—cooked for four hours—a comforting dish he says “gives you a hug.” His current favorite on the menu is the salt-and-pepper, cornmeal-fried flounder.
