CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Jorge Andres visited the Spectrum Center to showcase how the NBA court was transformed into a world‑class tennis venue, hosting some of the sport’s top players. The matches delivered high-level tennis and plenty of excitement!

Miller Yoho, director of communications for the Charlotte Sports Foundation, said it’s exciting to bring world‑renowned players to Charlotte, especially hosting matchups like Venus Williams vs. Madison Keys and Frances Tiafoe vs. Taylor Fritz.

The Charlotte Invitational is a special event where fans often encounter surprises—including local celebrities—and it’s a wonderful way to introduce families to tennis; many turned out to enjoy the competition.

The Charlotte Sports Foundation is a non-profit that continues to bring top-tier events to the city, from the Duke’s Mayo Bowl to the Duke’s Mayo Classic. Charlotte is rapidly growing as a sports‑events city, and the Queen City is embracing that momentum.
