CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Host Jorge Andres welcomes Sally Stokes, creator of Play More Charlotte and Matt Olin, to QC Life to share their joyful mission: helping adults remember how to play, rest, and find wonder. Sally has become a trusted partner for many arts organizations, including Blumenthal Arts.
Play More Charlotte hosts playful events designed to bring safety, community, and pure fun to grown-ups: think nostalgia, silliness, and creative connection.
Their flagship event, Grown-Up Play Day, happens twice a year and features 15+ activations like parachute games, LEGOs, hula hoops, dance parties, fort-building, a bounce house, and a vendor market full of local makers — it’s basically Field Day meets Silent Disco meets Art Market.
They also run monthly Sticker Club for Adults and offer pop-up playful services (ball pits and bubble bars) at festivals and events around the city.
