CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - On Saturday, May 23, the community is invited to Sun Valley High School for a 2.2 mile run or walk raising awareness for veteran suicide prevention and supporting the veterans in our community. The event begins at 9 a.m. and is held in partnership with the VFW of Indian Trail, with support from Kimberli’s Place Foundation.
Registration is $22, and 100% of proceeds go back to veterans. Sun Valley’s ROTC is also helping with planning, and everyone is welcome - whether you walk, run, or simply come out, sit, and be part of the community. If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988.
