The Charlotte Laundry Project benefit show The Laundry Project assists lower-income families with meeting a basic need – washing clothes and linens, by turning laundromats into community centers of hope.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Corey Easterday joins QC Life to share upcoming ways to support The Laundry Project. The Charlotte-based comedian, musician, entrepreneur, actor, producer, and podcast host also serves as National Director of Current Initiatives, a nonprofit dedicated to educating and mobilizing communities to become Hope Dealers through programs like The Laundry Project.

The Laundry Project supports lower-income families by meeting a basic need (washing clothes and linens) by transforming laundromats into welcoming community spaces. During events, laundry fees are covered while volunteers help families with washing and folding, entertain kids, and create a caring environment.

The Laundry Project Benefit Show is on Friday, June 5 at 7 p.m. at Divine Barrel Brewing. The fundraiser features three comedians and three musical acts. Guests are encouraged to donate money or laundry supplies. To learn more visit laundrybycurrent.org and follow @engagecurrent.
