CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - The Knothole Foundation is bringing its 7th Annual Diversity in Baseball HBCU Showcase back to West Charlotte on Wednesday August 5th and Thursday, August 6th. Held at the state-of-the-art Richard “Stick” Williams Dream Fields and Education Center, the prestigious two-day event provides talented high school baseball players from across the country with a platform to showcase their skills in front of recruiters. More than just a tournament, the showcase serves as a bridge for athletic advancement and academic opportunity, specifically spotlighting the rich heritage and athletic programs of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Over the course of two days, participants will benefit from elite competition, educational resources, and direct exposure to college coaches from both HBCUs and traditional institutions. By uniting athletes, collegiate programs, and community leaders, the Knothole Foundation’s showcase goes beyond baseball to foster long-term educational and career pathways.
