Cooking up hope for the future: A Taste of Magic

A Taste of Magic A Taste of Magic is an evening where culinary artistry and mind-bending illusion come together to leave a lasting impact for the Children’s Attention Home.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Rooted in the idea that even a single moment of wonder can open the door to new possibilities, A Taste of Magic is set to be an immersive evening of exceptional food and unforgettable entertainment. Children’s Attention Home’s Katy Motsinger (Director of Development & Marketing) and Bojangles’ Chef Marshall Scarborough (VP of Menu & Culinary Innovation) joined QC Life alongside nationally-known magician Bryan Saint to preview the upcoming benefit on Saturday, August 29th.

The event directly supports the Home’s brand-new independent living program, designed to provide vital resources and housing transitions for youth as they navigate adulthood. For Chef Marshall, who also serves as a dedicated board member, supporting the Home’s mission is deeply personal.

At the event, guests will enjoy:

  • Culinary Artistry: An exclusive, four-course chef’s table style meal curated by Chef Rob Masone and the Bojangles Culinary Innovation team.
  • World-Class Entertainment: A mind-bending live magic performance by world-renowned entertainer Bryan Saint.
  • Silent Auction: A chance to bid on unique items and experiences.
  • Giving Back: A special opportunity to invest directly in the new independent living program.
