CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - You never truly know what someone else is going through. To help shed light on the silent struggles of mental health, suicide, and the power of survival, actors Gina Stewart and Rahman Williams join QC Life to discuss their roles in the deeply moving production, “Right Before I Go”.
The production deals honestly and courageously with raw struggles, while ultimately carrying a profound message of hope - reminding audiences that even in the darkest moments, you never know what beautiful possibilities lie ahead.
Written to break through the isolation and stigma surrounding mental health, the show emphasizes that opening up can be both healing and life-saving. To support this vital mission, Charlotte’s Off-Broadway is collaborating with Mental Health Reimagined to offer extra support and tools during and after each performance. Including a Talk-Back featuring licensed mental health professionals following every performance.
The performances run September 10–12 at 7:30 PM and September 13 at 2:00 PM at Charlotte’s Off-Broadway Black Box Theatre at The VAPA Center. Tickets are $25 (A portion of all ticket proceeds directly benefits suicide prevention programs in Mecklenburg County).
