CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Each year, on the weekend closest to Sept. 11, Captain Kyle Lingafelt of the U.S. Marine Corps joins fellow participants at Charlotte Motor Speedway for a 110-flight stair climb honoring the first responders who climbed the World Trade Center towers 25 years ago to save lives and made the ultimate sacrifice.
As the 25th anniversary of 9/11 approaches, this event is a meaningful way to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who served that day and give back to the community. The 6th annual climb at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be on Saturday September 12th.
