CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - If you have been looking for a sign to adopt, consider this your call to meet your new furry best friend. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control is currently operating at maximum capacity, and local shelter pets urgently need the community’s support.
Even if permanent adoption is not an option right now, there are countless ways to help ease shelter crowding - from taking a dog out for a walk during the day or hosting a temporary staycation, to fostering an animal until they find their forever family, or simply donating dog food.
To help more shelter pets find loving families, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control is waiving all adoption fees from September 18 through September 30.
